The Yellow Rose of Texas
Author Douglas Brode and illustrator Joe Orsak are in the process of completing YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS, a graphic novel which will relate the legend of Emily Morgan, the African-American woman who inspired the famous folk song. The book will be published early in 2010 by McFarland Press.
